Wavents Srl was founded by bringing together extensive artistic skills and experiences – from the fields of music, theater, historical re-enactment, organizing large events, construction of sets for television, setup of exhibitions, and the development of cultural routes for tourism – around the two founders:

Massimo Andreoli

Production manager, founder and president of Wavents
Founder of the Consortium of European Re-enactment Societies, of which he has been President since 1999.
He is in charge of the Carnival of Venice’s Opening Ceremony, works together with the Council of Europe Office in Venice on the “Cultural Routes” program, is the President of the Italian Committee of National Historical Associations, and coordinates the Italian Board of Routes, Paths, Tracks, and Cycle Routes.
Since 2017 he has been the President of the Marco Polo Network Committee for the development of the “Western Silk Road” project along the UNWTO Silk Road.
He directed the “Knights of Jerusalem – The City of Lions” medieval festival in Jerusalem in 2011 and 2012.
In 2010 he prepared the study for the recognition of the Carnival of Venice as a UNESCO Intangible Cultural Heritage (2010).
On behalf of various international institutions, he has designed and coordinated festivals and historical celebrations in Moscow, Bergen (for the International Hansa Days 2016), Budapest, Lübeck (for the International Hansa Days 2014), Shanghai (for Expo 2010), Crete, Saint Petersburg, Istanbul, Athens, Taiwan, Thessaloniki, and Lille (for the European Capital of Culture 2004).
On December 27, 2011, by decree of the President of the Italian Republic, he was awarded the honorary distinction of “Knight of the Order of Merit of the Italian Republic.”
On January 13, 2017, by decree of the President of the Italian Republic, he was awarded the honorary distinction of “Officer of the Order of Merit of the Italian Republic.”

Gabriele Bonvicini
Artistic director and founder of Wavents

Musician and composer.
Founder in 1997 and Artistic Director of the “Musica Officinalis” ensemble, with which he has performed throughout Europe at major early and ethnic music festivals.
He has produced several recordings and record collaborations.
Since 2003 he has organized both musical and theatrical events, collaborating with local governments, foundations, and private sponsors all over Italy.
In 2009, on commission by the Fondazione Banca del Monte di Bologna foundation, he was the Artistic Director of the grand event celebrating 900 years of the Asinelli Tower.
Artistic Director of the “Scenari del Teatro Errante,” “Ascoltando il Natale,” and “Macrofestival” festivals.
In 2010 and 2011 he was the Artistic Director of the “Dharma Village” exhibition in Golfo Aranci in Sardinia.
From 2008 to 2010 he was the Artistic Co-Director of the “Monteriggioni di Torri si Corona” medieval festival.
From 2011 to 2016 he was the Artistic Director of the “Un Mare di Storia: Festival della Memoria dell’Alto Adriatico” festival in Grado.
Since 2013 he has been the Artistic Co-Director of the “Artinscena – tutti colori della cultura” festival.

Alessandro Martello
Direction

Director. Actor and Art Director graduated in Theatre and Regia at the National Theatre of Padua. As director of creative contents Alessandro Martello signed important events in Italy and Europe working in a strictly connection with some of the most important brand in the world as Maserati (Levante unveiling 2016) – Alfa Romeo (Stelvio 2017) – Ferrari (70th anniversary of the foundation 2017) – Lexus (RX debut 2015) Renault (Family Days 2016) – Bulgari (Bzero 2014).
Since 2015 he collaborated with Parente Fireworks Group, creating and directing pyro-theatrical show as: Italian Night (Venice 2016, Turin 2017) – Fiat Lux (Venice 2016) – Bon Apetit (Milan 2015) – Blanka (Milan 2017) – Redentore (Venice, 2017 ) – NYE Celebration (Imola, Ferrara, 2016).
He worked as event manager in relevant cultural events all over Italy as: Battle of Marignano, 500th Anniversay (Milan 2015) – Cronache Carraresi (Padova 2012-2013), Notte Bianca (Monselice, 2017) – Mantova Urbe Picta (Mantova, 2017).
Actually he is engaged as Artistic Director in project such “Urbe Picta” – Mantova NYE 2018, “Federicus 2018”- Altamura (BA), “One” – Trieste NYE 2018, “C’est la vie” – Annecy (FR).

Raffaella Lorusso
Historical events and exhibitions

From 2013 to 2015, Artistic Director of the event “VieSacreEVO” in the cities of Foggia, Bari and Brindisi, and from 2012 to 2016 of the “International Meeting of the Historical Parades” in Gravina in Puglia (BA).
Since 2015 she is Artistic Director of the “Ettore Pomarici Santomasi” Foundation, for the events of the Centenary 2017-2020.
Since 2016 she is Artistic Director of the Historical Reenactment “Ruvo, Carafa and the Legend ” in Ruvo di Puglia (BA).
From 2015 to 2016 she worked in the general secretariat of AEVF (European Association of Vie Francigene) for the development of the Southern Francigena Route and was Artistic Director of the historical events in Giovinazzo (BA) and Matera.
In 2016 she founded, and still directs, the EVO Consortium for the organization of re-enactment and sacred representations.
In 2016, within a research project of the Presidency of the Council of Ministers and of the Puglia Region, she edit the first guide of historical events of Puglia, with a special issue as an insert of the newspaper “La Gazzetta del Mezzogiorno”.
In 2017 she produced “Lùmina – Spettacolo in Luce”, a sacred themed representation in the rocky habitat of the ravines.
From 2018 she is Secretary General of CERS Italy, national representative of the Consortium of European Re-enactment Societies.

Walter Siccardi
Stage Combat

He is a specialist in Scenic Violence, Theatrical and filmic combat with or without weapons, duel and battle choreography. Trained in amphibious operations and shooting with the use of explosions, classic or western riding, handling and use of weapons from the Bronze Age to the modern era. Full Body Burning specialist also in Live Show. He is a Fight arranger, Historical weapons Consultant and Stunt performer with South Horizon Action Movie Design.
In the cinema since 1999 (Pupi Avati’s “The Knights who made the feat!”), he has worked in over 35 sets among great colossal (“King Arthur” 2004, “Robin Hood” 2010, “The Eagle” 2010, “Avengers age of Ultron” 2015,”Spiderman far from home” 2019 …), for TV series (HBO “Rome” II season, “The Black Arrow”, “Violetta”, “Beauty and the Beast”, “Good and Evil”,”It was my mother”…), dramatic movies (“Cha cha cha” by Marco Risi, “The Rediscovered Flag” by Phil Macina, “Pop Black Posta” by Marco Pollini, “Il Gioiellino” by A . Molaioli), comedies (“The Captain and the Stork”, “A star is born” …) as well as in independent productions (“Game of Kings – the short”, “The Oak and the Sword”) or commercials.
